| CARL Cutting Mats |

CARL Trimmers have replaceable cutting mats. The
Cutting Mats are the colored vinyl strips beneath the cutting blade that the blades
actually come in contact with as you cut your materials. You'll notice that as
you cut, the blades will "score" the mat. As a result, over time, the
mats will need to be "refreshed". There are a total of four (4) cutting
surfaces per mat: two on the top (facing surface); two on the bottom. "Refreshing"
the cutting mat is easily accomplished by removing it from the trimmer and just
turning it around end to end to use the right or other side of the mat. You remove
the cutting mat by inserting your index fingers beneath the mat into the notched-out
slots located at the top and bottom of the replaceable mat. When it is necessary
to “refresh” the mat again, just remove the replacement mat and flip
it over to expose the other side. Instructions
